The 22nd Annual Jack Haskell Memorial Golf Tournament is in the books, and our community came out big for the men and women of the Arizona Air National Guard. As PANG Patriots' largest fundraiser of the year, this tournament plays a major role in what we can do for our airmen and their families in the months ahead.
On Sunday, October 11, more than 100 golfers came out to The Legacy Golf Resort, along with more than 20 volunteers who kept the day running smoothly from check-in to the final putt. Business leaders, veterans, Guard members, families and first-time supporters played side by side for one reason: to stand behind the airmen who serve Arizona and our nation.
Why It Matters
The airmen of the 161st Air Refueling Wing fly KC-135R Stratotankers out of Phoenix Sky Harbor, refueling U.S. and partner aircraft wherever the mission calls. Joint Force Headquarters at Papago Park leads and supports Arizona's Air Guard units. These airmen are our neighbors. They balance civilian careers and family life with a promise to serve whenever they're called.
Every dollar raised on the course goes back to them through PANG Patriots. It builds unit morale, supports Guard families, and strengthens the bond between Phoenix and its Air National Guard. When our community shows up like this, our airmen notice, and it matters.
Honoring Jack Haskell's Memory
We play this tournament in memory of Jack Haskell, and his name is a reminder that the day is about more than golf. Now in its 22nd year, this event continues a long tradition of honoring those who came before us by taking care of those who serve today.
Highlights From the Day
A field of more than 100 players and a sea of blue on the course
A hole-in-one challenge on holes 4 and 17, with a car on the line
A raffle table loaded with more than 20 prizes, plus a 50/50 drawing
Mulligans and "String to the Hole" for anyone who needed a little extra help
Lunch after the round, full of camaraderie and good stories from the course
A Raffle Table Built on Generosity
One of the biggest draws of the day was the raffle, and it was only possible because of the many generous donations from PANG Patriots members and local partners. The prize table was packed with everything from golf gear and Arizona Cardinals collectibles to fine wine, spirits and gift baskets, and golfers lined up all morning for a chance to take something home.
A special thank you to Obon and Noggin Boss for their generous contributions, and to every member, business and friend of PANG Patriots who donated a prize. Every raffle ticket sold went straight back to supporting our airmen and their families.
Just part of the raffle table, made possible by our generous members and local partners.
